County Organization
The Board of County Commissioners is the legislative arm of Taylor County and sets policy for the government.
The County Administrator, who serves at the pleasure of the Board of County Commissioners’, executes the policies established by the Board of County Commissioners and oversees the daily operations of the government. County employees work under the direction of the County Administrator within the structure of the system of merit rules and regulation.
