Commissioner Pam Feagle is a native of Taylor County. She grew up on a turpentine still and farm, worked in tobacco fields at a young age, was a page in the Florida Legislature at age twelve, worked in the Van H. Priest Dime Store before being employed at Andrew’s Drug Store where she worked throughout high school.   She attended Taylor County public schools and graduated in 1967.  Nine years later with three small children, she enrolled at North Florida Community College and graduated Magna Cum Laude.  While attending NFCC she was a member of the honor society, Phi Theta Kappa.  She attended FSU and graduated at the top of her class from North Central Florida School of Medical Technology.  She is licensed as a Florida Medical Technologist, Florida Real Estate Salesman and in addition, is a Certified County Commissioner.  She will graduate in June 2013 as an Advanced Certified County Commissioner.

Upon graduation from North Central Florida School of Medical Technology in 1978, Commissioner Feagle joined the staff at Doctors Memorial Hospital as a Medical Technologist in the laboratory.  She became the Lab Manager in 1991 and served in that capacity until her retirement in 2006.

Commissioner Feagle was elected to the Perry City Council in 2001. During her four year term she served one year as the City of Perry Mayor.  Shortly after being elected, she founded and became the Chairman of the Veteran’s Memorial Park Committee.  She worked on the park project until its completion and did not seek re-election to the Perry City Council.

Elected to the Taylor County Board of Commissioners in 2010, currently Commissioner Feagle sits on several civic boards and has been a member of numerous boards and civic organizations in the years past.  Recently she has spearheaded the Forest Capital Hall Renovation Project.  Upon completion, the hall will be a community landmark that will promote the local economy by attracting events as well as enhancing the quality of life for the citizens of Taylor County.

Married to Richard Feagle, they have four grown children and four grandchildren.  Her parents are the late Edgar Adams and Bea Padgett Adams Foskey, who was a Taylor County Commissioner at the time of her death in 2001.    She has one brother, one sister and many relatives in Taylor County. In her spare time, she enjoys growing flowers, interior design, cooking, dancing, relaxing at the beach and most of all, having family functions.

Commissioner Feagle has a strong commitment to hard work and serving the citizens of Taylor County.  She states “my priorities are economic development, new job creation and maintaining a balanced budget where expenses are less than revenue. I believe in being available, answering the needs of my constituents, staying in contact by having semi-annual town hall meetings and serving the people who hired me.”

Commissioners are elected from single-member districts.
