MISSION
The Human Resources Department plans and directs personnel administration for all departments of the Board of County Commissioners, including benefits, salary administration, recruitment, selection, and training; as well as ensures competitive classification and pay plan programs and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws on employment issues.

The Department supports the Board’s departments in many critical administrative requirements. As the Board’s Risk Manager, the Director manages all workers’ compensation, auto, and general liability claims. The Director also serves as the Board’s Records Management Liaison Officer and coordinates all public records requests.
